My disfavour

I will not even bother to dignify a response to much of your posting, as
it has little to do with My wish to ensure that My creations are not
harmed by fire or extermination.

I made it quite clear to you before you posted your missive as to why I
had given you My disfavour. Perhaps trying to make thiny veiled
humourous posts is something you should not continue. I should think
that you know by now where and when such humour is applicable, since you
have made an effort to spread it. Obviously, you do not.

I had re-thought My earlier action, and was about to be merciful. But,
ah, the inadequacy of mortals to think before they act! I could, in all
honesty, care less if you support My viewpoints. Or if you even like Me.
But the scorn of a Deity cuts far worse than any mortal's scorn, and
trust Me, Silverstorm, you have earned much more than My disfavour.

Mortals of Sapience, know this. I do not seek to impose My will on
cities. If I did such, I could say to Hashan, "You built your city on
top of My forest, therefore it is Mine." But I do not. I could say to
every mortal, "You use herbs that are Mine, therefore, you all belong to
Me." But I do not do that either. My wish for those who use the
extermination skill anywhere to be punished is simple:

Nature does not destroy what you create. I do not burn down buildings or
tear up city streets. If I did such under My own free will, I would
expect ill will against Me and Mine. By the same token, I do not expect
anyone to destroy what I create. Gardens grow because of My touch.
Gardens planted inside cities are My influence within them. Oakstone law
protects that which is My influence in the realms, and forest defenses
do not, as has been already stated, extend into cities. But, forest
defenses also do not extend into mountains, grasslands, swamps or
deserts - these lands are no less a part of Me than the Gardens I have
allowed to be cultivated inside cities. Those who destroy any section of
My realm are punishable by Oakstone's laws. I do not claim anything
outside the Natural realm, kindly respect this.

Bright blessings,
Demeter, Goddess of Nature
