Meaning no disrespect for any of the Divine who have expressed opposing
viewpoints, I simply wish to state my own on this forum as many people
tend to do.

Plant life is unquestionably a part of the realm under Lady Demeter's
charge. It is indeed the concern of Oakstone to enforce laws regarding
its protection. Whether the plants be in forest, jungle, or even within
the confines of a city, the fact that they are absolutely a part of Lady
Demeter does not change.

Claiming otherwise would be like claiming that the dreams -I- have are
completely unrelated to Lady Valnurana, that the moonlight in Eleusis in
not the Lady Ourania's, or that a shrine has nothing at all to do with
the Divine for Whom it accepts offerings when it is placed within a home
or city not directly linked to Him or Her. I do not believe one should
separate a Divinity from His or Her realm when it's convenient.

What pains me most is how much of the insistence that such plants as
this issue involves are not Lady Demeter's business comes from the same
ones who, in their hunger for combat, strive to obtain large quantities
of nature's bounty to facilitate it. It's utterly amazing how people
bite the hand that feeds them. No respect at all.
