How silky your words are...like a soothing zephyr breeze...but i can
hear whispers in the breeze...and one of them whispers "That great whore
- logic". You explain evrything away. It seems that is all I hear from
Darklings - explanations...why the Eye was given away, why the Dragon
was slain, why to trust your intent. All good explanations! Just there
seems too many things they do need these softly woven explanations.
Trust the intent of the an Order whose definition is that of Lies and
Deceit? Hmm. You will shove the mystique of the Divine in my face, that
i don't understand the divine plan, nor the underlying teachings, which
are hidden from non-members, and reveal the truth. But that is a
double-edged sword - yes, i am a mere mortal, but as such, Divine truth
and plan are irrelevant to me - how can I have blind faith in a concept
i do not comprehend? One thing is left to my meager mortal intellect -
cut the Divine plan out of the equation. The Divine are beyond judgment
- one cannot judge something he is completely incapable of
understanding. All i can use if my limited REASON and common sense in
reflecting on the followers. From what i have seen and read, the Pyramid
of Darkness appears to me a pyramid of Wills...where members use the
knowledge of Dark Teachings to subvert other wills, and manipulate their
way higher...higher up the Pyramid. This process is what fuels the
entire mechanism - this pyramid atop which Twilight sits. In deeper
studies of these arts, the members rise higher and higher, toppling
others, to rise further. A sad reality is, however, nomatter how far
they claim, there can only be One on top...all the rest are merely
slaves to that One's will to one degree or another. It does not matter
how many wills are below you, if there is always one above. Mind you,
this is by NO means an insult - merely an observation (i have seen many
a person glorify blind service of a truth they cannot comprehend).
In light of all this, tell me then, how do you with a straight face
announce that you are showing the truth of your intent, when ulterior
motive is seemingly the driving force behind your entire order?
