Greetings,

I guess I'm not the right person to be a spokesman for Lord Sartan, but
I was going through some old tomes of mine from my days as a Sartanite,
something I'd like to share with you.

'There is no foe, no danger, no unseen power more rank nor malefic then
the one known as the traitor. We abhor the traitor as he leads the enemy
past our gate. We hunt him ceaselessly for the murder of our kin. We
despise the traitor for every bit of destruction he brings to us.'

To Lord Sartan and those who follow Lord Sartan, I am indeed a traitor
myself. And who better to notice a traitor than a traitor?

'We abhor the traitor as he leads the enemy past our gate.' When you run
and hide in Mhaldor, your enemies give chase, crossing the threshold
between our world and yours.

'We hunt him ceaselessly for the murder of our kin.' Every time you run
into Mhaldor with enemies on your tail, you put your brethren and kin in
danger, quite possibly leading to their demise.

'We despise the traitor for every bit of destruction he brings to us.'
The more you pester and preach about the things most of sentient life
wishes not to hear, the more you anger them, and the more they want to
bring as much destruction to Mhaldor as possible.

But, I guess some leniency is given to you, as your memories of Loom
Island are still pretty vivid, seeing as it was only some few short
years ago that you drank from the fountain there.

With all my love,
Horatio Moonflair

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Ero, in the year 325 AF.
