Actually, the Jesters guild

I'd like to start off by asking...

When the heck did you people become so uptight?

Ok,now on to the post

Llewellyn was Guildmaster when I made the move from the Sentaari to the
Jesters after Shallam ousted me for publically saying that killing kids
isn't necessarily an 'Evil' act. I joined because I wanted to have fun
and play pranks, etc. Some may remember the roads being covered with
bannanas, but I digress. He gave me a shot when not many others would at
the time, because I'm still known 45 years or so later for the actions
of my youth by some of the older people in the lands. Some Druids
actively despise me still, and some members of Ashtan seriously
questioned my entrance into the city.Speaking of Ashtan, I was an enemy
at the time when I joined the Jesters. Given those reasons, Llewellyn
had every right to refuse my entrance into the guild because I might
have posed a danger to it in that I might snap, start killing people,
get the guild involved in wars, and all those type of guild nightmares.

But he didn't, and that is what matters.

I seem to recall some really problematic young person who went on for
about an hour insulting the guild, specific people in it, and making all
kind of assassination/death threats. Many of us clamored for his quick
outguilding and some even wanted him dead, myself included. But Llew
heard him out, gave him some advice, and tried his hardest to help the
young man out, but he was obviously beyond help at that point. Llewellyn
has the most patience of anyone I've ever met, and for that he has my
respect till eternity. The only time he lost his cool was after the
young man directly threatened every single person in the guild before he
left.

Llewellyn has more patience than most of us can ever dream of, yet you
threw him out because he violated inguilding procedures? The Jesters
guild is a School. I was taught that from day 1. You are supposed to
teach the young how to become the pranksters and comedians that they
aspire to be. Yet you toss someone for not following the rules once. To
me, the Jesters guild is not the same as it used to be, and is indeed
more dangerous. Without Llew there, who will give the Ximilis or Fortyrs
of the land to start anew? No one, I fear.

You have thrown away a great teacher, friend, mentor, and more than
those, an outstanding individual. Shame on you, and shame on what you
have become.
