Look it is part of this world, if you do not wish to be a killer than don't. Some of us choose to kill, some of us exist for that sole purpose. There are ways to avoid fighting now that were not available to us when I was but a young monk. I learned to fight, though I am a bit rusty right now. Either do as Cobra says stay graced or learn to defend yourself. As for fighting not being good role playing I believe it is excellent role playing. I am a monk I train my mind and body to be used as a lethal weapon, therefore for me fighting is very much a roleplaying thing. If you die constantly stay graced don't be stupid and try to fight six people at a time, pick and choose your battles. That is all I am going to say on this rather boring subject.
