Unfortunately, while npcs are the same as players from a role-
perspective, they will never be as intelligent. They will never have

the capacity to fight as intelligently as players do (though they will
slowly be upgraded in the number of things they can do) and further,
due to technical reasons, a number of things cannot be done to them
without making Achaea use up a ridiculous amount of memory. Given the
currently limited range of response that npcs have, it thus makes sense
to limit the things that can be done to them.
