Embracement

Written by: Benevolent Maajida Uaine, Disciple of Succour

Addressed to: Everyone

Hoarse, strained, torn
cords of my voice
thunder
echoes
waves

push, push, push, push

the curl of a lip - the shift of eyebrows, the reddish cheeks without a smile

sinew to bone and bone breaks

sting of fresh wounds, fear as pain, pain that throbs, ruptures, lurches over hiss and sizzle of flesh in fire the throb of a heart the ache of muscle ------- hunger from hungerless places

cold that burns electric cutting memories - cutting seconds - dark at the first light and pain from the eyes and head and ears

silence that deafens is noise

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Sarapin, in the year 976 AF.
