Bricks

I moved all of those boxes into the attic
thinking I needed to make space for you to stay.
But now I see that was useless effort
because you are once again on your way.

I learned to live around you,
I even fell a little bit in love,
and you, you changed me forever,
but you are now a part of my past.

I moved those boxes back in today,
and this time I've reinforced the walls.
You see, you made your way in last time
but now these bricks are too strong to fall.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Ero, in the year 893 AF.
