Stillness of the Moment

Written by: Sister Jayden al-Mu'allima, the Ivory Cleric
Date: Monday, February 3rd, 2020
Addressed to: Everyone

Portrait painted with quiet
Canvas formed of gentle words
Spellbound invocations
In the magic of serenity
Admiring a diamond's glint
Unearthed beneath lodes of stone
A simplicity gilded in warmth
Of a heart afire as the hearth
Lighting a smile soft beyond
Exquisite wing and robe

Aurulent dawn rousing a peace
Awake within a blissful dream
In the stillness of the moment
When time both rushes and halts
Enraptured by the rising song
Resounding in a storybook wish
To taste a slice of Nirvana
In solitude's togetherness
Where whispers speak as volumes
Of tomes shelved within hearts
And pages yet unwritten

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Lupar, in the year 821 AF.
