Death is a man oft misunderstood
When he does come, all garbed in black
..especially with a curving scythe in one hand.
But no one ever understood Death,
He was ever so lonely, you see.

Death had always been a busy man, for
Souls were always present for the taking.
Be aware of his profitable venture;
And if you've received his calling card
It's best to start packin' early

No, Death does not wait for souls at all;
Never had been late for a date so far
Yet he has a redeeming quality as well,
He's very much a gentleman (and handsome to boot)!
He tends to your needs in the Soulrealms.

But, you see...
Death is a powerful God by right
Loveless by His profession in the cycle of "life",
Yet worshipped by the scholars of His realm
And Judger of all sentience who come before Him.

But Death is a God still oft misunderstood,
Swarmed with ignorance of an oceanful of men.
His mystery intrigues, and His will be dominant
But it is folly to fear an end to life.
Be soothed: Death has been very nice to me thus far!
