Wars in rhymes?

As I'm learning Achaean ways
Conflicts in Sapience don't cease to amaze

Wars fought with swords
And envenomed words

Now rhyming efforts set ablaze.

But if the wars are to entertain
Please, please do refrain

From bringing mediocrity into the fight
Especially if you are a knight

With a high reputation to maintain.

So if the point has to be made
And you're a Lord, make it with your blade.

Of course if there's no point
And it's just meant to annoy

Then it matters not how it's conveyed.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Sarapin, in the year 554 AF.
