Karma

Karma

Your words cut like a serrated knife.
Sowing seeds of discontent and strife.
Callous is your attitude.
Angry, you are shown no gratitude.

Your heart is blackened like the night.
Hurting others brings you delight.
Forcing others to do your will.
Does it give you some perverse thrill?

Knowledge you have gained through experience.
You prowess is known throughout Sapience.
But do the people know who you really are?
The real you is black sticky tar.

A lesson in Karma you must now learn.
Respect is not given, it's something you earn.
Each deed that you do, consider it's turn.
Good and bad by three, to you it will return.

May this verse serve as a warning,
So your soul will do no burning.
Each thing you say, and deed you do,
I pray you stop and think it through.

Karma, it will come for you.

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Chronos, in the year 508 AF.
