A Little Ode of Mourning

Tonight, a great light has gone down in the west,
The flag is failing - to half mast it I raise.
In the depths of mourning we are, promises made
To us are put to ruin.

Flee us while you can!

Light is not upon our face any more, nay, no more,
Not upon the place I tred; I am forced to be bound.
Here, yes, bound, I cannot go anywhere else but you
Who can...

Flee us while you can!

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Mayan, in the year 403 AF.
