Bubble. Shimmering
Spectrum of fragile
Existence
Blowing in
The zephyr with
Minimal resistance.

Perfect sphere
Perfect surface formed
By tension
Your radiant beauty
Deserves at least
Some sort of mention.

Short lived
You were too wondrous
For this cruel world
Still I loved
You from the time you
From my lips were hurled.


Frog

Frog. Croaker.
Not everyone's
Cup of tea.
What a lot
Of world those
Big eyes see.

Long tongued,
Catching insects
For your meal.
Superb jumper
Your sinews seemingly
Made of steel.

Just a slimy green
Amphibian
Upon a lily pad.
Harsh voiced
But still you are
A tadpole's dad
