i am but clay
mold me as You will
shape me and define me
make me who You want
i am buy nothing
my will i give to You
make it that of Yours
so that is all i do
worthless is my soul
it flees to Your embrace
accept this soul as Yours
and protect it evermore

pointless is my love
unless You receive it
be my loves target
be its meaning

i am but a child
orphaned and alone
become the Father that i yearn
embrace this lost child

Father, now You have become
my heart is finally mending
protect Your little girl
she is but Yours alone
so now stands before You
Your once orphaned child
i give myself to You
