Morality Disavowed

Am I here?
Shrouded in Shadow.
If you reach out
Will you touch me?
Or grasp at a cloud.

Am I here?
Silent, invisible.
The secret watcher
Who cannot be watched.
Perfect anonymity endowed.

Am I here?
Is that me, or
Does the light play tricks?
Unknown, cloaked.
Within the night, unbowed.

Am I here?
Now do you see me
Standing by your side?
Soft whisperer in the dark
Of pleasures unallowed.

Am I here?
Or do I dwell inside?
A mind of pathways,
Convoluted, dark.
Morality disavowed.

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Aeguary, in the year 385 AF.
