The eye of the Beholder

He searched the forest thoroughly
Looking for his dame
The wilds he did separate
And monsters he did maim.

Enter the castle, did he then
Looking for the tower
Dripping on the dungeon floor
From the outside shower.

Climb the stairs, through the halls
Persistent in his search
Enter the great hall he did
When the floor did lurch.

Looking up then he did gaze
And saw his quest complete
With shoes as big as his whole person
His princess had HUGE feet!

Out of the door, he then made haste
And she removed her shoes
Revealing dainty princess feet
The prince did surely lose.

Through this story we all learn
Not through the prince�s leaving
The princess was not what she seemed
Appearances are deceiving.
