First snow

The snowflakes float to the ground
The first snowman in the area
Snow angels litter your yard.

Snowballs flung every which way
Friends attack with the frosty ammo
No alliance is for sure.

Hot chocolate as you sit by the fire
Steam warming your hands
Rosy cheeks, frostbitten hands.

The first few days of winter are heaven
Then someone trys to leave the driveway.
