Well, lets see if Maya is any good at writing poetry....

Emotion wears away
Our wall of sanity
That we built for our protection
Against the frothing human sea

The sea creeps down upon us
Harmless beauty so we think
The tide laps at us in silence
And thus we start to sink

I cry, I weep, I sob, my friend
But all to no avail
The tide creeps ever closer
A tide that will prevail

It is the beginning of the end
The undoing of us all
This tide of everlasting power
Tearing at our wall

The wall begins to crumble
Our sanity fading fast
Until all we have left with us
Are memories of ages past

And now it is all gone my friend
And thus the tide prevails
The wall we thought be stone and strong
At final test did fail
