Bold Troubadour

"Where do you go bold troubadour,
In your clothes so bright and gay?"

"I go to the fayre, my lady,
To earn my bread this day."

"Why do you go, bold troubadour?
Enter my garden and stay.
For I have bread - and wine - and cheese
And I would hear you play."

"What is that, bold troubadour?
What is that you say?"

"Today I go to the fayre, my love,
But tonight I'll pass this way."

"When will you come, bold troubadour?"

"I'll come when the light grows grey.
I'll drink your wine and I'll eat your food,
And you shall hear me play."

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Aeguary, in the year 378 AF.
