When The Day Is Done

Written by: Quaero Vetustas, Skye Demaxx-De'Le'Vec

When the last rays fall
Upon this tired land
And my journeys come
To a final end

Will I see the light
Rising from the faraway horizon
Or will the sun not shine
When the new day comes

For all my tears
And all my fears
I know for certain
When the day is done
I'd still see you again

Now the night has come
The dark just feels so cold
Are we all alone
Do we have no place to go

A distant point of hope
A single candle burns
Remember the Flame
Still shining far away

For all our tears
And all our fears
Just know for certain
When the day is done
We will see Her again

Written in memory of the Sun.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Mayan, in the year 377 AF.
