Okeanos Einai

======================================

Alas, the sea has called thee here again
Within He sings and then thy heart is wed
Assured the solace of the warmest bed
Without this touch, what pain wouldst thou be in?
Foretell this loss, the heartless void of sin
Foretell that dark of silence ringing dead.
Without this love, what filth would fester then?
Without this love, what answer lies within?

Indeed thou standest here with Him below
Without there be no hope to live above
For He dost cradle all the solid ground
The pain would be unbearable to know
The pain of not knowing the Sea God's love
No sea, no wave, no life, no King be crown'd.

=======================================

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Glacian, in the year 368 AF.
