Mirror, Mirror - (Prelude of Destruction)

Written by: Paine's Midnight Stalker, Nawtika Mendacis, Dangerous Flirt
Date: Saturday, May 22nd, 2004
Addressed to: Makali, Goddess of Destruction

I see my reflection (eyes staring into the emptiness)

She looks so lost (deep within the darkness)

A million memories she'd rather forget (a prison to hold her)

There is pain and sorrow in her eyes (desparation lurking beneath the
surface)

Unseen marks of violence (the strength of a battered spirit)

I turn away and look back (captive to her past)

She's still there (haunted by the shadows)

I watch as my hand
As it breaks the mirror
And my reflection is on the floor
In P I E C E S

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Daedalan, in the year 364 AF.
