(vundamere) Afore the Dawn
Throughout the lands, I see the sun rise,
And the waters, meet the sand;
In the rainbow, and the sunset,
I can see, the painter's hand.
Though the night, is quickly falling,
And the sun, now goes away;
I can feel, the moon is rising,
In the abscence, of the day;
On the lakeshore, I can feel it,
Moving through me, in the air;
On the seashore, I can touch it,
Yet I know not, what is there.
In the forest, all is moving,
In the springtime, and the wind;
In the prarie, all is silent,
In the winter, and the snow;
Though the midnight, 's quickly rising,
I still know, of waning day;
Though the stars, are brightly shining,
I still feel, the burning ray..
In the Dungeons, dark and de-ep,
I fight for living, and daren't sleep;
In the cities, I see the movement,
I hear the people, about their keep,
And yet, it's morning, in the hours,
Though they are, and still yet wee;
I feel the stillness, and the cool-breeze,
And the stars, I clearly see;
Through the valleys, all is calming,
And their soft, secluded feel;
Is a comfort, to one bleeding,
In the so-ul, and they heal.
On the cliffsides, far above all,
Noone dare, to ever fly;
All is silent, yet is freezing,
To the bone, and to the soul.
And in the lakeshore, all is waning,
Silence peaks, as waters will;
Where the river, meets the lakeside,
All is silent,.. and soft,.. and still.
Morning's coming, yet it's perfect,
Right before, the sun will rise.
All is silent, the world is sleeping,
And now the waters, meet the sky.
If they could only, last forever,
Then their love, would make us sigh;
But the sun comes, and the sunrise,
And with their parting, we shall cry.
Though the day, is quickly rising,
I shall come, when moon arise;
And when the same, is slowly fading,
Then the waters, meet the sky...
