Falling

I keep searching to find the right thing to say
I trip and blush and it used to not be this way
Yet, often we just silently sit and enjoy our day
I think I am falling...

When we spoke, the words flowed like the water
Then you promised to protect me and my daughter
Now I glance shyly at you and my voice will falter
I think I am falling...

I keep trying to tell myself that it simply cannot be
I should not stay near you; I should run and flee
But I hear your voice and see how you look at me
I think I am falling...

Often we are found together, never very far apart
I am so frightened that a romance is about start
Already it may be to late, I think you have my heart
I know I am falling...

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Lupar, in the year 354 AF.
