Memories

I lie here,
Searching everyday,
Waiting for that rainy day,
When i stay and pray,
For the thoughts i hold,
The happenings once searved true,
My memoires lost with age.
To remember all the things dead past,
The things ive said,
Done,
Told,
And laughed.
The actions that at once where spurs of a moment long passed,
Now living memories,
Told with satisfaction,
Or dis-satisfaction,
With the old mumbles of "i wish i hadnt done that",
And "what brought that into my mind".
Questions,
That need answering not,
For what done is done,
Never forget that.
While we who strive forward,
With sheer,
Smiling delight,
Take time to remember old things true,
The memoires that lie in both me,
And you.
For then we can all safely say,
"Im not doing that,
I'll stay far away",
Learning from the past.
Things that happened once that day,
That will never happen again,
Today.
The memories that serve true, may they guide, forever, both me and you.
Penned by my hand on the 18th of Mayan, in the year 348 AF.
