Door Without a Key

Written by: Initiate of Honour, Tariel Ninquelote-Xanatov

Behind the door that has no key,
Cries reach no mortal ears.
Though hunting wraiths ignore my plea,
I seek to sooth my myriad fears.

Beyond the peace of hollow mind,
I bathe my soul in crimson tears.
Truth has struck me deaf and blind,
Waiting till Time disappears.

I forget not all that I will see,
The madness burns me deep inside.
Behind this door without a key,
I pray, and watch, and hide.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Scarlatan, in the year 347 AF.
