Wow. I don't often write poems. I didn't think it was very good.

I too have always liked poems that tell a story.
I actually read Beouwolf.

I have noticed that there is a recent trend towards love poems.
Love?
I don't think so.
The most common words in the poem are 'me' and 'I'. Love is not about
'me' or 'I'. I think some of us are confusing Love with Lust and
Infatuation.
If you really love someone you will be thinking about them, what their
feelings are, what they want. 'Me' should not even come into it.
I salute those of you who have written poems about true love. Sadly you
are few and far between.
