Shadowed by your fears and worries.
A dim light, that is your hopes and dreams.
Scanning the darkness, heading for the light that,
grows weaker with every step.

The light, swallowed by darkness taunts you.
Calls out your name and grabs hold of you,
from the inside.
You can try and fight it but
no matter how hard you fight,
in the end it wins.
Pulling you into the darkness as it dies out.

And there you are,
cold and alone
in the darkness
of your fears and worries.
