Oh the Rain

Rain
Oh the rain
I cannot explain how I feel
To steal a moment again to stand
Out in that blissful wash, awash
No snow: it shuns the cold for the cool
Calming effect of that breeze and wetness
A euphoria; an aesthetic orgasmic plasma
Of that emotion, nameless because
It is will can not be nor ever was
Not the presence of elatedness; a pretense
But the lifting of weight
That lack of sad state, unrelated
And for a time my mind forgets the pain
Of when I must return again
Washed away by the pouring rain

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Mayan, in the year 326 AF.
