A name

What is, a name?
To some, simply a word
To others, a proud title
A word, A title
What, is a name?
My personal feelings,
A name is a proud thing
Something to wear with honour and pride
It walks with you in life
Marriage
Often the changing of your name
Should you be the lucky bride
Rather sexest?
Perhaps just tradition
But isn't that
What a name is?
Proud tradition
Something to pass to your children
Something to let the world know
This proud person is my mother
She married my father so
Tradition broken
Proud wife no more
Children stuttering
Names file miles long
What to call one's self
Follow the mother, or the father
Perhaps that is why
In this day and age
So many familys
Are split with rage
Names in abundance
Lena-Yug S'Dellis-Moonflair-and more
Children without ideas
Fathers without pride
Mothers stuck on the past
None moving foward
All because
Some can not let go
Self knowing and pride
Our children will not know
They do not belong to one family unit
They are spread out between
Often feeling shared
Thier mothers and fathers
Two seperate people in name and title
Two seperate familys
Clinging to the past
Without moving foward, to create thier own
What is a name?
A Word
A title
A unity?
Penned by my hand on the 15th of Aeguary, in the year 313 AF.
