aliases

It's come to my attention that many, if not most, of you who use
aliases don't really understand the purpose of targets. I look at many of your alias lists, and you have, for instance, like 10 aliases that look like:
maul rat
maul hyena
maul oyster
etc.

This is a bit silly as there's no need for more than one of them
really, if you use targets. The whole idea of target variables is to allow you to change groups of aliases (or a single alias) on the fly by changing a target variable.

For instance, set all your attacking aliases to use a variable, such as 'target', and then simply change your target when you want to attack someone or something new, and lo and behold, all your attacking aliases will now work on that thing.

Example:
setalias ml maul &1
setalias ki kick &1
settarget 1 sarapis

Thus, ml and ki will both target sarapis. You just use settarget to change your target to a new person, and both of them will then attack the new person or thing. Simple!
