We'd like to invite you all to celebrate with us as we commemorate 600
years since the fall of the Seleucarian Empire! If you've never had the
opportunity to participate in our quinquagenary festivities, you are in
for a treat!

The new year is currently scheduled to roll over at 0500 GMT(*) on June
28 and we'll be kicking off with a bang: a treasure hunt! This is your
chance to uncover a mystery parcel containing anything from gold and
herbs to artefacts of enormous value. At this time, we'll also be
kicking off our Y600 lottery and our auction for out-of-subdivision
housing plots.

Of course, the highlight of the celebrations are the championship games,
where adventurers battle it out for glory, honour, and the Staff of
Nicator, the legendary artefact wielded by some of the most celebrated
figures in history.

Monday July 9: 23:00 Awards ceremony (time subject to change).


Of course, there is plenty more in store beside the championship events,
including master riddles, ship races, a drinking contest, and more!
Finally, our massive City vs. City capture the flag (HELP CTF) battle
will be held at 21:00 GMT on Sunday July 8!

More detailed information on all of these events will be released as
year 600 approaches.
