As Year 550 approaches, we are happy to announce the prizes for the
Championship Games and for the Lottery!

The winner of the Year 550 Championship will receive the legendary Staff
of Nicator, plus the choice of three prizes:
- 2500 credits -OR-
- 1-year of Iron Elite membership and a selection from the artefact
vault -OR-
- an island/ship package: ownership of a newly formed private island
in the location of your choice (subject to approval). This
includes a buildable out-of-subdivision housing room, man-made
harbour, selection of the island's official name, plus a fully
decked-out war galley to transport you to the mainland!

The grand prize for the lottery, opening at the beginning of the year,
is the winner's choice of 1500 credits and 10 Mayan Crowns -OR- a 1-year
Iron Elite membership -OR- a fully decked-out seastrider.

In addition to these prizes, each of the championship games will award
credit prizes to the top ten competitors. Throughout the year, we will
be hosting many additional games and contests with credits and mayan
crowns for prizes! And last but not least, the Effigy of Victory will be
awarded to the winner of the city vs. city Capture-the-Flag, to be held
October 23 at 10pm GMT!
