Themes for the Contests

Greetings Artists, Bards, and others!

We have decided on a theme for the next contest, which will actually be
a running theme over the next few cycles.

The theme is: Cities! Each cycle will be themed to a different city,
starting this coming cycle (beginning in about 3 Achaean months) with
Hashan. The order (randomly chosen) will be:

Hashan
Cyrene
Shallam
Ashtan
Mhaldor
Eleusis

Each Artisanal and Bardic entry must focus on the city determined for
that cycle. We will of course remind you of the theme for the coming
cycle in our announcements of the winners for the previous cycle, but be
warned that not following the theme will immediately disqualify you.

Some might say this is unfair, as a Shallamese person may not have ever
seen the interior of Mhaldor (and vice versa). However, we understand
this and are just as interested in your depictions of what you THINK it
looks like. The same goes for poetry and prose.

Best of luck to everyone!
