After the lottery drawing on January 30th during the upcoming
quincentennial celebrations, gold-based auctions will begin on seven
housing plots in public property, outside of cities/subdivisions. Such
plots are rarely available, and bidding can be expected to be intense!
In the last such set of auctions, the highest bid on one of the
properties was 22 million gold sovereigns! The average winning bid was
approximately 12 million gp. We will be making use of the automated
auction system, and the auctions will last until the end of the year
500.

Here are the plots that will be up for auction:

Dardanic grasslands - Grasslands near the coast. A clifftop location
near the southern border of the Northreach Forest.
Mysia - Upon a sugar cane beach. Convenient access to the Mysia harbour!
The Eastern shore - Base of the cliffs. A dramatic oceanside location.
The Isle of Harae - Mountain peak overlooking a valley. Build your
impenetrable mountain keep high upon this island in the western sea.
Actar - A secluded pond. Waterside location in hills overlooking a lush
valley.
Aalen Forest - Grasslands north of the Aalen forest. Just upon the
outskirts of a gorgeous redwood forest.
Green Lake - A sunlit glade. Aside from a lake monster as your neighbor,
this location offers tranquility in a central location!

Bidding will begin at 250k gold.
