Freedom

I do not know the canon that is Vastar's view of Freedom, I will
be honest. You are far more likely to know. However, I think I can
give an accurate view of what I have always thought of as freedom.
When I am 'oppressive', as you say, I am not restricting freedom,
as Saruman has been wont to say, and now you are as well. I am
exercising my own. Restricting anothers freedom does not conflict
with freedom, only enforcing equality. I hardly wish for everyone
to be deemed equal. The true opposite of freedom is equality, not
oppression. Thus, even if I were oppressive, you would have no
cause to tell me that I am opposed to freedom.
I admit to not understanding the theory that drives you, why you
feel you know the soul as well as you do. I'm willing to go along
with what you say, until my Goddess tells me that you are wrong.
What I do know, however, is that where your theory conflicts with
the words of my Goddess, I will go with my Goddess. I'm certain
you don't expect any less.
