A Journey I am Undertaking

In regards to my considering waging a one man war on the Kharon, many of you are right... I am not up to it.

When I say this, I am not saying that it is physically beyond me. As things are now, two of the Kharon's most feared warriors, Usagi and Calhoun, run whenever they see me. As a guild member of mine once told me in an arenaspar, "You take Usagi and Calhoun for fun, this isn't going to last very long". Though they found it easy enough to kill me when I was new, I have since reaching the 40th level encountered only one who was able to defeat me, and I of course chalk that up to the phenomenon we all reffer to as "lag", which allowed Korr to narrowly escape sure death three times in two fights, which yes I will admit he won the first and I had to flee from the second. I am quite sure however that if things had been working right he would have died as easily as all of the others do. Granted, I have not fought the ones considered to be their best (Tranquility and Skarash) in a fair fight since reaching a fighting level, but I still intend to try.

Hopefully that all made it in there. For those of you who go on doubting my skill, please stop telling me that at least. One time I was simultaneously attacked by both Darkthought and Usagi, and I killed them both without losing my vitality. I am at the least a better fighter then Usagi and Calhoun then, and by your own kharon ways of thinking, that means that I am better than them.

When I say I'm not ready to fight them, I mean I'm not ready psychologically. War is ugly, I know this, and I just don't have the stomach to ambush people who haven't done anything to get involved in what was a personal conflict. For example, there was another Kharon, Darkthought, who I was planning on ambushing. I entered the area he was in, ready to attack, but I just ended up poking him in the arm and when he saw me he ran away. It was frustrating really, I just didn't have whatever it is the people I don't have a problem with ambushing has that allows them to attack innocents, or those who are nearly so.

And so, I am going undercover with the help of several different techniques I have put together to try and toughen myself mentally. I highly doubt that the army of darkness will stand down, but to finally sum it up in a few words waging a war like this requires a strength of mind and convictions that I at this point do not have. But hey, we'll see what happens, won't we.

By the way, if anyone has any second hand magic items they want to sell for credits, drop me a message as I may check them once in awhile =) On the long calendar, I will be gone for five weeks.

Thanks for reading,
Alex
