the help church scroll

I feel a bit axkward defending the Church here since I am not a member, but upon examining their help scroll it appears that the heathens crying hypopcracy over the Church's view on the new altar may need a refresher on what it says.

To quote: "In time, the Church grew to represent the forces of Goodness, Light, and Order and fought to push back what they viewed as the ever-growing chaos and evil in an increasingly complicated and modern world. To this end, the Church built the Chrysalis Basilica..."

It says right out that the Basilica was made in the name of fighting evil. Thus if the Church does or does not respect all gods does not matter. It has no bearing on the fact that the Basilica has no place for an icon of evil. Also note that this specifies they fight evil AND chaos (to address that one question). It also states they represent the forces of Goodness, Light, and Order. Again, whether or not the respect all gods has no bearing here. They REPRESENT Goodness, Light, and Order, and thus the Basilica, which represents them, is a place to house Goodness, Light, and Order. Once again it is shown that the evil altar does not belong there. therefore the Church has a right to insist on its removal without violating their statement of respecting all gods.

I recomend having it moved where it will be more appreciated. Ashtan maybe? In fact, by asking it to be moved where it will be more appreciated is a sign of respect for the god it represents. Maybe the Church should take this stance?? That's up to them, though, not me. Just a suggestion.

If you do not agree with these statements then I recomend you yell at the help scroll about the issue, for this is what the scroll states, not me.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Mayan, in the year 249 AF.
