I address this to you, Pierce, but it is really intended for all
involved in the recent treaty confusion/conflict.

I have been asked by a high-ranking individual from Ashtan to
organize a meeting so that the treaty can be re-written in clearer
terms. I will refrain from mentioning his name, as I do not know
if he wishes it to be public knowledge. I think this is an excellent
idea as all of this confusion could have been avoided if the treaty
was more explicit. Naturally, I do not blame anyone for this because
oft times a "loophole" isn't seen until it is found, so to speak.

I ask two favours from all of you... In celebration of Logosmas, it
would be wonderful if we could put aside our differences even if just
for this brief time. Second, until the treaty is re-written, please
try not to exploit the current confusion.

(OOC NOTE: Due to everyone's schedules being crazy right now, the
treaty meeting will probably not take place until at least after
Christmas. Thanks.)
