It was previously posted that the Spire of Ages would be sealed in Ero, and indeed that was the original intent. However, there has been a change of plans.

The Spire will now be sealed on the [ 5th of Glacian 1004AF ]. Yes, this does also mean that you have an additional few months to contribute your item and letter to the Spire: see Public news 22958 if this is new information to yourself.

All are invited to the sealing ceremony of the Spire of Ages at the Asterian Restoration. Adventurers, denizens, any Divine who deign to grace us with Their presence alongside Lord Phaestus, Who will be performing the sealing.

Those who join us for the sealing ceremony will be given an opportunity to speak, if they so wish, on the item they have chosen to contribute to the Spire and why. Food and drink will also be served, and attendees are expected to dress in appropriate formalwear and arrive sans armour and weaponry as befits such an occasion.

Finally, an image will be created of the occasion and this will be the final item added to the Spire before it is sealed. The last possible moment of what was and who existed at this point in time, captured before the flow of time is frozen for the Spire, only to start again once it is unsealed centuries from now.

Once again: all are invited, not only to witness history but to leave a physical mark on it. I look forward to seeing you all there.
