Regents of the Court of Shadows,

I wish to formally request access to the Wellspring, as many before me have done in recent months. Unlike previous petitioners, I have no history of aggression against the Court. I am an alchemist by trade. I have never been a Commoner and I have never deserted, defamed, nor broken my oaths.

In short, I can see no reason why my humble request should not be given all due consideration.

Unlike Mr. Terias, I will refrain from insulting the leadership in a sarcastic effort to bandy favour. I will not promise to use Sublimation to turn Rian family members into puddles of angry flesh. I will not describe, at length, my personal achievements and intimate involvement in anything and everything, pertinent or not, in grandiose and colourful prose.

By not doing these things, my application for Wellspring access is unlike any previous request. I do hope that will work in my favour. Thank you tremendously for your time.
