An excellent segue, Valkya, my thanks.
As none have yet collected the bounty (news post 22710), I now offer it in a different form instead.
I understand that Targossas has given this peasant - in the words of its own citizens - a sham trial and absolution. The Seven Truths, however, offer something else.
I seek to aide and teach all children in the way of Mhaldor - to survive on your own strength. We ourselves go forth and slaughter to test the strength of what remains in these realms, but we ourselves do not fear fair fights.
As such, and to bolster my own claims that I see the potential in these and all children to rise from the weak holds they are currently bound to, and to encourage them to prove that they are fit to survive in these realms, I am offering a gesture of my own faith:
I am providing all denizen children aged 17 and under who request it with HIS words to inspire faith amongst them and a forged Mhaldorian weapon of their choosing to act and step forward to better themselves, and so that in future instances outside of their control - a mad peasant, a hungry seed, an iron child - they have a more even playing field in which to survive the odds.
The Sixth Parable is a tale of a man who comes to a town and slaughters all - this parable speaks of the strength of this man, and how none could oppose him though they had the opportunity.
I now offer to foster the children of this realm to become this man, or to one day be the one who could stop him. Come and collect this bounty yourselves in the form of a weapon with which to prove your worth.
Come and learn that the true method with which to spur growth, become unlost, or cure your weakness in resolve and strength: His Seven Truths.
Come West, children. Be armed and learn the wisdom of His Truths. You will become stronger for it, and one day you may not just defend your family from a Targossian peasant, you may one day defend your family from me and mine. And on that day, Mhaldor will be proud.
