Ashtani Scholarship

Imyrr Invictus,

I've often heard that you are the premier scholar in the Bastion of the North, so it surprised me to find that you made such a simple mistake as to ignore the surrounding context of the words with which you take issue. It is almost as if you scanned the words looking for ones you might take offence to rather than taking a legitimate scholar's approach to my work. I sincerely hope that is not the approach taken by the majority of Ashtan's scholars, though it might explain some of the positions the city has taken over the years.

As Eoka Nithilar-Tarxun pointed out in the letter I included in my previous post to public, the battle in which I reference Ashtani as attacking those attempting to liberate the Aalen forest, did indeed happen during the _liberation_ of the Aalen forest. Likewise, I make no claims to the battle occuring on 8th of Valnuary 913AF in the Dakhota Hills where a beacon was placed by the undead, but the one that occured on Sarapin 20th, 914AF where Cyrene narrowly liberated it from the Demise's influence despite Ashtani interference.

Now, let me be frank with you. I understand your posts have been disingenuous. I don't know the reasons. I do know that the majority of Sapience understands the truth of what happened, so I can only posit that the words are meant for your own citizens. The lies and falsehoods come easy to your tongue. You must have had to feed them lies constantly over the years to get them to work against their own best interests.

To all Ashtani, I beseech you to go back and reread the words between Eoka, Imyrr and I. They are writ plainly for you to see. You can see the evasions and discrepencies. Where I bring up one point, they counter with something completely unrelated. Go back and look at the words they have fed you about Chaos. You will see the falsehoods in them as well.

Find the Truth because it certainly won't come from Imyrr Invictus.
