We have stumbled across an errant fact, which must be addressed. I apologise for ever joking about your Council's paperwork being completed in triplicate - it turns out paperwork does not fall from the sky there in lieu of rain, and not all is completed in triplicate. Some ink is not even pushed once.
Either way, here we are.
You are well aware of the Nature of territory and conquest. Should you relieve the Aalen and the Tsol'aa of their shackles, you simply have to conquest another area instead and you retain your status.
Instead of claiming to be spreading influence to assist in the fight against the Sky Lord - who has no eidolic influence to spread - admit that this is a battle simply against Nature, and the Aalen.
In times gone by, and yes, things are different now, Cyrenian leaders have asked me how we can be friends. I brought up the Forest of Light, they talked about how they had no influence over that.
You have influence over this. Nature will remember. Eleusis will remember, and so will King Tu'eras.
Only stubbornness stops you from relinquishing this territory and simply taking another.
If you allow those in the Aalen to live with their well-earned freedom, we can agree to protect it together forever, everyone will cheer louder both for Logosmas -and- sensibility, and it will be a great time.
If you do not? Well, you might find yourself with more enemies than you planned for if you ever try to seek aid from afar.
The choice is yours, but it is your choice. Do not make the same mistakes as your ancestors.
