This is the best explanation that I can provide, as an individual that has overheard a number of opinions on this topic. I do not speak as a representative of the city.

I am certain that many individual Cyrenians can never forgive a number of names involved in Wayward Heights, Divine and mortal alike. However, we have Cyrenians that are Pandoran. We stand beside our fellow citizens and their right to their faith, even if not the Divine in question.

I hope that this provides some clarity.
