Citizens of Cyrene,
How swiftly the mists of memory fall upon your marble streets.
It was not so long ago that you raged against Pandora and Her claim upon the Imperial Gardens. You called Her intrusion sacrilege, a theft of Cyrenian dignity. You wrote songs and speeches about Wayward Heightsa often dubbing it "the insult that could never be forgiven."
And yet, here you stand today. Marching beside Her order on crusades. Guarding Her shrines. Lending your hands, your blood, your honor, to the very divinity you once decried. The same goddess who reshaped your gardens now reshapes your hearts, and few of you seem to notice.
What happened to Cyrenea proud independence? What happened to the outrage that burned so bright when Pandoraa banner first rose over your valley? Has comfort dulled your conviction or is the memory of humiliation so painful that youa e chosen to pretend it never happened?
Do you truly believe this serves your ideals? That fighting under Pandora's banner preserves the beauty or integrity you claim to value? She is no patron of creation, no guardian of art or truth. She is a herald of Chaos, the patron of Ruin, an abettor of Oblivion itself. Through your actions and unity, you are laying the ground for a new Wayward Heights.
