Ia'Sapience.
As many of you have no doubt noticed, His City has struck a blow for Advancement once more. This is the second time this has happened, Sapience- emotions have gone haywire, and, unable to restrain yourselves, you threw yourselves at the feet of a divine and pleaded for Salvation. Again.
Much like the first time, it did not quite work out for you.
As you sharpen your blades, you no doubt have two questions on your lips- the first being, of course, how soon can you seek Holy Vengeance upon us (now!), and the second being, simply 'Why'?
I will tell you why.
Because you should not need a God to control yourself. You should not need to pray for Salvation whenever misfortune strikes. You should not need us to remind you of that fact, but, unfortunately, this is not a Perfect world- yet. Whether your emotions are deadened or raging, you are still you, and your actions are your own. You did not choose to bear this burden and discover more about yourselves- you chose the easy way out.
And we chose to drag you onto the holy path of thorns, instead.
I pray that this tragedy will inspire the Lord Bard's next great melody, so that the lessons taught today may persist longer, if put to divine music.
In Hardship, Sapience.
