A goblin far from home

Limping in from the Northern Ithmia forest, a rugged-looking goblin
found his way to the Crown of the Ithmia one day in early Sarapin of 391
A.F. The first to find the mysteriously injured goblin was Master
Korben. The goblin could barely speak; the few coherent words coming
from his mouth were "Food..." and "Help..." Korben benevolently provided
mutton and ale to the ill goblin, both quickly consumed.

After he had gobbled down the food, the goblin grabbed at his throat in
pain. His head lolled about, then violently jerked forward as the goblin
threw up the black contents of his stomach. The Seneschal of Hashan,
Bambi Rousseau arrived, at Korben's call. Together, the two coaxed from
the goblin what had befallen the unfortunate creature.

He had travelled out of his home, the goblin village in the Dakhotas, on
a journey -- a spiritual journey, he claimed. Venturing north through
the grasslands and through the Western Ithmia, the goblin meandered into
the Northern Ithmia. Dazed from lack of food, the goblin had spotted a
smattering of ripe black berries and devoured them. Though delicious at
first, the berries soon showed their true nature, causing him paroxysms
of pain and intense nausea.

Weakened by the poison, he had slowly hobbled into the streets of
Hashan. His story ended abruptly as he finished expelling the contents
of his small stomach. Raeynna Trefenwyd and Reptilios Le'Coeur joined
Korben in a journey back to the goblin's home to procure better help for
him. Bambi Rousseau stayed behind to nurse the goblin.

The adventurers rushed to the goblin village and found the shaman there.
She was reluctant to speak with them, but when they mentioned the
goblin's name, Grunik, she agreed to help. They explained the situation,
and she recognised his illness. She mixed together ingredients, poured
the potion into a vial, and handed it to Korben. The adventurers hurried
back to Hashan. The goblin poured the potion down his swollen throat,
and a green light immediately shone around him. He stood up, refreshed.

The now-hale goblin thanked each of the adventurers. The Hashanites
offered for him to stay with them in their city. He shook his head sadly
and announced that he must return to his village. With fond farewells,
the goblin departed from the Crown of the Ithmia, setting upon his
journey home.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Scarlatan, in the year 391 AF.
